Talk:Coase's Penguin

Latest comment: 15 years ago by Benjamin Mako Hill

Why is this redirect page locked for editing? It makes little sense directing it to Benkler's Bio as that page doesn't really discuss Coase's Penguin at all. Can some admins open the page for editing so we can start working on an entry? Khawaga (talk) 04:48, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The page was deleted on notability grounds, apparently. You can see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Coase's Penguin for the whole discussion. At the very least, this page should direct to a section in Benkler's page that discusses the article. I've also just asked for an administrator to give me the old text of this page. I'm going to start an article on a separate wiki if Wikipedia won't have it. —mako 23:48, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I can see the reasoning questioning it's notability, but I agree with you that it should at least be directed to a section within the Benkler page. Khawaga (talk) 00:41, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, I had the deleted text moved to User:Benjamin Mako Hill/Coase's Penguin. You should feel free to incorporate it back into the Benkler article and we can then make the redirect point to the section. I may try to improve that text so please leave me a note if you copy stuff in so I can do the editing there. Thanks! —mako 23:17, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
