Retitle this please edit

This article should be retitled as 'Kings of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands', as that is what the name of the islands is correctly termed. - (203.211.77.35 01:05, 22 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

It has been done! The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 06:47, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
This is not right. The islands are "Cocos (Keeling) Islands" but the title is "King of the Cocos Islands". Kendall-K1 (talk) 16:35, 19 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Regnal names based on last name edit

I know that the Regnal Names column I added is accurate, because even after the office was abolished, the very last one continued to call himself Ross V. The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 03:14, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is this for real? We say the title was given "by the press". That renders it informal to the nth degree. There was no recognised crown or throne, and there was nothing to be "abolished". No regnal numberings either. If I'm misinformed about this, can you advise, please. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 05:13, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

J Clunies Ross edit

I have a travel chest with J Clunies Ross name clearly displayed on the lid. it's a rather large chest with several weathered P&O identification tags on either end. I found this chest on a council throw out. I believe it could have belonged to Jeannie De Burgh 220.237.45.65 (talk) 06:24, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
