Vengeful and highly opinionted comments in the 'Criticism' section. The person seems to be a repeat offender who keeps coming back to vandalize. Reqeust admins to take appropriate corrective step. thanks. Kirubashankar (talk) 14:54, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

There's concern at the moment (admittedly a couple of months later...) that the article reads like an advertisement and fails WP:NOTABILITY. I think that there are good grounds to have a "criticism" section, but it must be supported by references from reliable sources - it can't simply be an excuse to bash Club Mahindra. Incidentally, the "Criticism" section was empty, so I've removed it, but I'd welcome another editor putting it back - subject to the previous comments about WP:CITE and WP:RS.
I'd also suggest that pro-Club Mahindra editors bear in mind the concern about advertising and notability - avoid making this article into an advertisement promoting Club Mahindra; it needs to be as neutral as possible.
Regarding WP:NOTABILITY, I personally feel that since Club Mahindra was the first major Time Share operator in India it's notable - but this needs to be reinforced by good quality references. If this isn't done the article is likely to be deleted.

If the only notable thing about Club Mahindra Holiday is that it was the first timeshare company in India, then shouldn't the article be primarily about the Indian timeshare industry, and only mention Club Mahindra Holiday as the first such company? Mojei (talk) 16:40, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Quite possibly. If the article doesn't improve it's highly likely it'll be nominated for deletion, and I'd certainly consider supporting or suggesting that the article be deleted and replaced with a generic article about the Indian timeshare industry. Article condition - "no consensus"

edit

The article was nominated for AfD in January, but was ended abruptly with a "no consensus" conclusion, which means "with no effect on the article's status" per WP:NotEarly. So, let's discuss here what we can do about it instead of taking self-generated actions like merging. Thanks 1.186.41.86 (talk) 15:19, 16 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
