"Social Phenomenon"; What?

In the article, it states,

"Cloud computing has become a social phenomenon"

And i think that is a bad way of describing it. Cloud computing is an actual industry, and even if it is used sometimes as a buzz word, it is very important. Would you describe Social Media or Ray Tracing as a "social phenomenon"? I don't think so. 1ctinus (talk) 17:04, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
