According to the article, "There are only an estimated 2,500-9,999 birds left." This range is bizarrely precise. Presumably a reference reported something like "less than 10,000." Converting this to "up to 9,999" is awkward and misleading. If there's a source for the number remaining, please cite it, along with the date. Pburka (talk) 03:34, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
