A Table
editI believe it would be useful to turn this list into a table.
Nicaragua
editCan someone please elaborate on why congress had a closed session pertaining to Nicaragua on April 23, 1983? I'm not really sure what this is referring to. I don't think simply "Nicaragua" is sufficient. Jasongetsdown 02:20, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
Closed v. Executive sessions?
editExecutive sesssions are often closed to the public and often classified. What's the difference between these and "closed sessions"? I ask because there are many, many executive sessions (or at least were in the 1940s, which is my period of research) which are apparently not "closed sessions" in the definition used here. --Fastfission 23:31, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
57th Closed Session
editPer Congress.gov and official Twitter channels the Senate is now in Closed Session on October 23, 2020. [1] This is presumably regarding the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett but noting it here and I'll let someone with better sourcing add it to the page Phil (talk) 17:10, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
- Someone added it and I bumped the number of closed sessions, then counted them and see there are only 43 listed, if I'm counting correctly, despite the claim it is a full list of them. Can anyone identify any missing ones or is the count wrong and should it be corrected to 43 or somewhere in between? Phil (talk) 18:36, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
