The Dodder doesn't define it's north. I'm pretty sure it's north is at the intersection of eglinton road and clonskeagh road. Also this is in Dublin 6. --Richy 09:45, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
Not all of Clonskeagh is Dublin 6. Much of it is Dublin 14 (including Roebuck Road). I understand Clonskeagh north of the Dodder is often called "Vergemount" a la the hospital, but most people I have spoken to from there call themselves Clonskeagh residents. --shane t 15:19, 01 November 2005 (UTC)
That little bit of Clonskeagh north of the Dodder is a different postal code, different electoral distict & different council area than the rest of it. Clonskeagh Road is about the only common link. --Ljmcg 15:52, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
I have attempted to resolve the unclarity surrounding the borders. They are fluid so it's tricky, but I think I got the essence pretty well. Also, corrected an error in that the Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre are not on Clonskeagh Road but in fact have a postal address on Roebuck Road. Added info regarding St Kilian's and the LFI. Businesses section needs an overhaul or perhaps deleted? edit
Most of the businesses listed in this section have moved. Vodafone has moved. Philips are no longer there. What about the rest? Bardcom (talk) 12:44, 22 April 2008 (UTC)¨
Map? edit
Are there any guidelines for having location maps in articles such as this? Is there a template? --Bardcom (talk) 21:33, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yep. Some relatively new ones - you use standard coordinates and they lead to a choice of maps - the reader then picks one. There was a bit of argy bargy involving that troublesome editor, BHG. But I think I managed to restore the peace :) You will find the latest at Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates Sarah777 (talk) 21:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
