The Lynch Estate
editI've removed the reference to the signatory of the American Declaration of Independence for two reasons. The name of the signatory was incorrect (John Lynch instead of Thomas Lynch Jr.) and there is no established connection between Thomas Lynch Jr. and the Petersburg estate. Paul B. McNulty's Genealogy of the Anglo-Norman Lynches who settled in Galway suggests that Thomas Lynch Jr. may be descended from the Gaelic Lynches of Cork.
