Exact date of birth edit
I've removed 5 September which was here. His birth was registered in the April to June quarter of 1882. There is a baptism record for 24 June 1882, the original can be seen on the FindMyPast site. His entry on the 1939 Register was originally 5 July 1882 but changed to 9 March 1882. The Australia, World War II Military Service Records, 1939-1945 A6769: RAN, Navy Officers, as transcribed on Ancestry, has 9 May 1882. Unless someone has access to his birth certificate, it's probably best left blank. Cavrdg (talk) 08:14, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
