"Cotton Candy" missing edit

Clint played a significant roll in Ron Howard's 'Cotton Candy', Ron's first made for TV film made in 1978. This should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.247.115.87 (talk) 13:10, 5 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Rock and Roll High School" missing edit

There is no mention of one of his greatest roles, Eddie Eaglebauer in Rock and Roll High School.

  • Yeah, but if you're going to add this information, make sure it is correct. You placed it as being a film directed by his brother, Ron Howard, and it is not. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 15:09, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Clint Howard was also on an episode of The Odd Couple in season one, I think as Felix's son. Perhaps someone can help with both articles? CMAC —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.169.149.27 (talk) 00:24, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Silent night deadly night 4 vhs screenshot.png edit

Image:Silent night deadly night 4 vhs screenshot.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Chinchillas denied! edit

In an interview in Portland, Oregon, on July 28, 2010, Howard denied being a chinchilla breeder, world-class or otherwise. In absence of any citation of the claim, it has been removed as an unsourced rumor. CFLeon (talk) 20:30, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Clint Howard also had a bit part in the 1984 film "Splash" as a wedding guest. The film also starred Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah, Eugene Levy and the late John Candy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.196.124 (talk) 05:00, 20 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

How come there is no mention of his appearance in the Bonanza episode "all Ye his Saints" . first aired 1965. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.117.113.27 (talk) 01:21, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Middle School Dropout? edit

The article mentions Howard's attendance at an elementary school. This suggests (to me at least) that he dropped out of elementary or middle school. Can anyone confirm or deny this?Kerry (talk) 21:13, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Someone heard somewhere that he went to their elementary school and added it to the article (unsourced, so I removed it). For all we know, he has a doctorate in particle physics. - SummerPhD (talk) 05:11, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
"Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." No need to lecture me on evidence. I asked if anyone could confirm or deny the issue. Apparently you can't do either. Have a nice day. Kerry (talk) 13:24, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Sorry if it sounded like a lecture. I didn't intend that. (Does wishing me a nice day mean you don't want me to have a nice night?) - SummerPhD (talk) 18:13, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Have a nice night, as well. ;) Kerry (talk) 13:59, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I remember him singing in an episode of Gentle Ben...there is an old time musician named Clint Howard who played with Doc Watson..is it the same guy? If so does that mean Doc Watson was not really a rock and roll guitar player..I heard he was..just because he never buzzed a note doesn`t mean he couldn`t play...was Doc Watson really a new wave musician...I mean punk and new wave are not really the same even tho they are and punk isn`t really music except some people say it is like heavy metal rap and polka..it`s loud and offensive but at least there`s a point to rap and a melody in a polka...sort of — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lonepilgrim007 (talkcontribs) 04:24, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

On the question of if Howard is the same individual you mention in connection with Doc Watson, my opinion would be no for the simple reason of the age disparity. Mr. Howard would have been quite young during the early portion of Watson's career. Howard would have only been 6 years old when Watson began his career in 1953. As to the question of Watson being a "rock and roll" guitarist, perhaps you are referring to a different Watson as he is not known for playing that genre of music. I have no doubt he may have influenced players of that genre though. THX1136 (talk) 14:14, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

New Image Please! edit

Can we get a new image for the actor? I know flickr has some noncommercial images that are available and IMDb has plenty of head shots. Can we use either of these to update the image and possibly move the current one down to biography? Bgrus22 (talk) 07:13, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gentle Ben edit

I'm sorry but I don't see anywhere where Clint was cited playing a lead in Gentle Ben. Maybe I'm mistaken but I loved Gentle Ben as a child and would hate to see it overlooked. 174.84.61.42 (talk) 22:53, 27 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
