The discussion of Eastwood's feature breakthrough should mention Leone's use of Kurosawa's YOJIMBO and Mifune's character, Sanjuro. 68.96.91.232 (talk) 00:37, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Why would we need this here? The lead in the For a Fistful of Dollars already states
The film has been identified as an unofficial remake of the Akira Kurosawa film, Yojimbo (1961), which resulted in a successful lawsuit by Toho, Yojimbo's production company.
