Merger proposal for Cliffjumper

edit

I feel it is unnecessary that this character has a separate articles for Cliffjumper (other incarnations). It is full of fancruft, badly sourced fansites and plot summary it would be better to for them to be redirected to the main article as it's about the same character and there is innsufficent independent information that the different incarnations are notable or distinct enough to have their own article. Support My objections to the other merges mostly stem from article length concerns. This doesn't apply here. --Divebomb (talk) 17:10, 15 October 2010 (UTC) Divebomb has been blocked as a sockpuppet.Reply

Corrections to G1 alt mode info

edit

I've noticed that on at least two instances, there is reference to Cliffjumper as being, in effect, a red Bumblebee. The opening paragraph refers to him as commonly being a red repaint of Bumblebee, while his G1 infobox indicates that his alt mode is a Volkswagen Beetle. It's widely known that, although the two molds are similar in size and transformation method, 'Bee is a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, while Cliff is a red Porsche 924 Turbo (which is actually pointed out in the G1 toys section) - the confusion may stem from the fact that both Autobots were initially released in both red and yellow variants, though this does not make Cliff a repaint of 'Bee. I'm not familiar enough (yet) with other versions of the character to confirm or deny his being a 'Bee repaint. Morogth (talk) 20:46, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
