Additional resources

I have added a section titled "Additional Resources" with the intent to cite sources and remove them from the list after they have been used in the body of the article. Several obituaries were published this week, and there are also numerous sources that will reveal the role Tillion played in fishery management. I invite others to add more resources so that we might gather a sense of Tillion's life before structuring a more developed biography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JECason (talk • contribs) 19:50, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

I moved this from the article to the talk page. The reason why is because its purpose, as you state, is to provide pointers for improving the article and not as an improvement to the article in and of itself. Even if it served as a further reading section, it overwhelms the existing article body and would therefore be inappropriate.

Also, care must be taken to distinguish fact-checked statements from Tillion's own personal recollections published by reliable sources. Tillion was known for telling quite a tale. In fact, in the first 24 hours following his death, I heard three different versions of the story of his first meeting with Jay Hammond, all wildly divergent.
