Shooting

The article says Claude fell over the railing. That's not how I remember seeing it.. Am I wrong? I'll check if NBC has the episode online... What do you all think the chances are he wore a bullet-proof vest, since he knew there was a chance Mr. Bennet would shoot him?

Fantastic? Really?

Can a single, prolific word really be a quote? That's like saying we're quoting him because we use the name Claude like he did in the series. Besides trivia is apparently frowned on here in WP. Padillah 14:53, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Ordinarily, I would agree about the first part. However, since the role of the Doctor is how Christopher Eccleston is know to many, it stands to reason that the exclamation is an homage to that role. Also, the way he exclaims it is nearly identical to how he used to say it on Doctor Who. Chronolegion 16:44, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Death?

In the last two eps of season 1, Sylar seems to appear and disappear, but does it offscreen so we can't tell if it's Claude-style invisibility or some other ability. Is this enough to report Claude as possibly dead at Sylar's hands? KickAir 8P~ 03:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

However, since invisibility would be controlled by the brain, a loss of the brain would prevent invisibility. A similiar thing would be Betty reverting to her true shape after she is knocked out by Niki. Tree1138 23:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

• The Blood Ando slips in belongs to Isaac Mendez, who Sylar had just killed (as we see Sylar using Isaac's power). And Although Betty does not revert to her actual form when knocked out, the illusion she was creating at the time does subside. Commentary for episode 16

The article states that in the commentary for episode 16, it is described that a scene was cut showing Claude starting the whole 'bears of the world' thing with Claire. However, I just re-watched the commentary, and didn't see/hear anything like this. Could somebody confirm this? RedZionX 00:43, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Name

Do the details about his name actually belong in a trivia section? I think it's an important point.

Also, he was obviously sarcastic about being "Claude Rains." It would be like Nathan saying "Oh, yeah I'm a regular Christopher Reeve," because he can fly. Sharpvisuals 17:15, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Tom O'Bedlam

Heroes is heavily influenced by comic books. We have to say that Claude is based upon the character Tom O'Bedlam from the comic book The Invisibles written by Grant Morrison. Tom O'Bedlam is a beggar, is a mentor to the main character of the serie and he is seen often playing with pigeons. Also, While Claude's power is "invisibility", Tom O'Bedlam is member of "The Invisibles". Simply put, because we didn't say it or make the comparison. If I recall correctly, the "Wolverine" analogy was made by Hayden Panettiere, who plays Claire. Wikipedia requires verifiable, third-party sources, and doesn't allow editors to make comparisons or analysis of subject matter without said references. --Ckatz^chat_spy 19:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

I disagree with all the massive merging that is taking place for all the recurring characters. Most of their pages are being merged without concensus. Eden's page was merged and only two users discussed it and made the decision. Why are these articles being merged? I thought this was a encyclopdia where a complete scope of the series was to be presented. We cant delete articles because a character is dead...no one remain dead on the series anyway. We cant continue to edit the Heroes pages based on what is happening in the moment and what is most recent.

Someone has attempted to Merge Molly Walker, Ted Sprague, Claude, Alejandro Herrera and Eden McCain to the List of Minor Characters page without enough concensus to do so. I strongly disagree with that. We cant just scrapped their articles because the characters are either dead or not current on the series. Users worked very hard on those character pages and they are important to whomever created them. This issue need to be discuss more before pages are redirected and merged. Redirects are often time just a sneaky way to delete an entire page. Those five character pages need review by a wide scope of people dedicated to the Heroes project, rather than a few users. Real World Context.

This article lacks significant real world context. It should include information about Eccleston's leaving doctor who for the role, and so on. Otherwise, it's not likely to meet the WP:NOTE requirements for an article. Also, any information about the writers' and the creation of the character should be included.
