Trouble archiving links on the article

edit

Hello. I am finding myself repeatedly archiving links on this page. This usually happens when the archive doesn't recognize the archive to be good.

This could be because the link is either a redirect, or I am unknowingly archiving a dead link. Please check the following links to see if it's redirecting, or in anyway bad, and fix them, if possible.

In any event this will be the only notification in regards to these links, and I will discontinue my attempts to archive the page.

We've noticed some old or outdated info on this page and were hoping someone could assist us updating that content please?

The main points of concern:

- Population stats seem to be from 2018, whereas more recent census data is available: https://www.abs.gov.au/census/find-census-data/quickstats/2021/LGA27070

- A recent VEC review has changed the number of wards for the upcoming October 2024 election: https://www.vec.vic.gov.au/electoral-boundaries/local-councils/whittlesea-city-council#:~:text=Whittlesea%20City%20Council%20was%20dismissed,one%20ward%20with%203%20councillors

- Current list of Administrators is incorrect, with Chris Eddy replaced by Christian Zahra AM in 2023: https://ncreview.com.au/2023/04/11/city-of-whittlesea-appoints-new-administrator/ 220.101.107.162 (talk) 02:38, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

These seem like well sourced issues to be addressed in the article. I'll try to get write wording for the article and put them in when I get a chance. A Tree In A Box (talk) 07:00, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

There are a few things out of date on this page, which is making some of the content inaccurate or misleading. Can I please request the following changes?

Edit 1

<’Introduction’, second sentence – old dates and data don’t match the details at reference 1 and inconsistent with the details in the Population section.>

The city covers an area of 490 square kilometres (189.2 sq mi), and in June 2018 August 2021, it had a population of 223,322 229,396.

<’History’ section, paragraph 5 – update data request>

The City of Whittlesea is a culturally diverse community with the 2011 2021 Census recording that 38.3% 41.8% of residents were born overseas.

The next elections will not take place till October 2024. The last election, in October 2016, was a general election for the Whittlesea City Council conducted by the Victorian Electoral Commission.
