Same as tangential polygon

edit

But isn't this exactly the same as a tangential polygon, for which a more comprehensive article already exists? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.24.6.183 (talk) 22:42, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The tangential polygon is by definition a convex polygon, but a circumgon need not be a convex polygon.Krishnachandranvn (talk) 04:36, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
But is then not every polygon a circumgon? (you can always draw a circle in a polygon, just make it small enough) WillemienH (talk) 19:53, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
the question is not convex or non-convex, but polygon or non-polygon, a circumgon is not necessarily a polygon. 95.234.28.181 (talk) 14:55, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
The difference between circumgon and tangential polygon is that the circumgon may not even be a polygon, but may have a part of the perimeter composed of arcs of circumferences, which may be part of the inscribed circumference or arcs of other circumferences as long as they are tangent to the inscribed circumference. 95.234.28.181 (talk) 14:48, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
