Split proposal edit

This article refers to the both route, C-5 and the road, Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, which is confusing. -hueman1 (talk) 07:31, 26 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

If a particular section of a highway is part of an overall highway numbering system, lacking notability (other than just "official" or memorial naming), then those sections need to be included in the primary road to which they are a part of. Any perceived confusion can be mitigated within designated sections. Splitting of individual sections, official or memorial named, just creates more confusion to those not familiar with the area of concern as this is a worldwide encyclopedia. I don't agree with a split either and I don't see any confusion between C-5 and Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, and they both point to the same road. @HueMan1: I think you might be conflating Carlos P. Garcia Avenue with the unrelated road through UP Diliman, ending near the UP Town Center at the Katipunan Avenue intersection, which is not part of C-5 either. I may agree splitting the expressway from the southern terminus of C-5, across SLEX and Skyway, toward CAVITEX, but not the other short, named segments of C-5 that are not notable. -TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 17:11, 22 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't agree splitting either. The Taguig segmebt (SLEX – Bagong Ilog flyover/Pasig Boulevard) which is sometimes called Carlos P. Garcia Avenue does not merit its own article as it fails WP:GEOROAD. It is better to retain C-5 article as it is. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 04:18, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Separate creation for N11 highway (Philippines) edit

Can I remove N11's redirect to C-5 and create a separate article?

@BoholMappingAndRoutes: Sure, why not? Tip: use four tildes (~~~~) to sign your messages.hueman1 (talk contributions) 12:07, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
