High and Dry? edit
The "dry" in high and dry coming from the lack of consumption of alcohol? Uh? I thought it was dry, emotionless services, in contrast to the emotionalism of evangelicalism and Methodism. Anyone got a reference for that? Gerry Lynch 12:34, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Broad Church edit
My understanding of the "Broad Church" was less that it represents a middle ground between High and Low, than that it emphasizes common liturgical practices over contested liturgical details. In practice, this often means something in between High and Low Church, but it's arrived at by a different route. Missing word edit
