wrong date edit

His doctorate from Jena University could not be 1850 if the books that earned it are later than that.truthordare (talk) 07:35, 17 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

He would also have been 16 years old. I think the book dates might be right, the doctorate isn't. Andy Dingley (talk) 09:24, 17 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

minor error? edit

A title is mentioned, namely "Principles of Design", but in the bibliography only "Principles of decorative Design" is mentioned. Is this an error?

Needs expanding edit

A desgner of the stature of Christopher Dresser deserves a more detailed article than this. 195.217.128.34 (talk) 11:46, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

English? edit

Is there some reason he's described as being English despite being born in Scotland? Saint|swithin 10:01, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

He was born to English parents while they were living in Scotland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.31.135.113 (talk) 20:24, 26 November 2016 (UTC) 149.31.135.113 (talk) 20:27, 26 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dr? edit

I've read in several places that he was Dr Christopher Dresser. Is this correct? And if so, was he a medical doctor (MD), or did he have a PhD doctorate? There's no mention of him being Dr Dresser in this article. 217.42.0.94 (talk) 17:09, 29 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
