Damn - couldn't you find a better photo of her - she looks like she is about to attack a chip factory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.158.57.215 (talk) 10:43, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011 edit

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 1 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:

How many ARIA nominations? edit

The article states:

Anu has been nominated for 16 ARIA Awards.

The supporting link is broken, so cannot be verified. The table lists 16 nominations, including one for Engineer of the Year for her cover version of "Sunshine on a Rainy Day". Was Anu the sound engineer? If not, should this really be counted as Anu being nominated for that award? sroc (talk) 12:58, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect/unsourced claims about personal life edit

This edit by User:58.168.73.24 claimed:

Kuiam was born to her childhood sweetheart, Simon Deutrom, Whereas her daughter and younger son were born to her currant partner actor/singer Rodger Corser.

The accompanying footnote was to an article that is over ten years old. In fact, they have split up, Corser married Renae Berry, and she was pregnant with his child.

With biographies of living people, we must be particularly careful to ensure that all claims are verifiable with reliable sources. sroc 💬 11:25, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Son Wayne edit

The source at Ngarralinyi 2TLP Community Indigenous Radio has been used to verify the claims that:

  • "Anu married her childhood sweetheart, Simon Deutrom, in 2010" (also supported by an article in New Idea
  • "Anu is a mother of three" with the addition of "youngest son Wayne."

That website is now offline but a cached version can be viewed at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:fiUt2tlfhkgJ:2tlp.com.au/talent34.html. It says:

Christine Anu is mother of three children, Wayne, Kuiam and Zipporah. Anu married her childhood sweetheart, Simon Deutrom.

I can't find another source to verify the birth of Wayne, but it is evidently incorrect to say that Anu is only the mother of two knowing that a reliable source exists (or existed) even if it is currently unavailable. Does anyone have another source? sroc 💬 05:08, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
