There used to be two (almost?) identical pages, Christine (book) and Christine (1917). The latter now redirects here. <KF> 01:55, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Strange categorization; Please clean up the categories edit

I found this page through Special:Mostcategories because the article contains too many categories. Could someone please clean up the categories so that it makes sense. (What is this article about? Is it about a person or a book? Could someone write an introduction paragraph that clearly states this?) Dr. Submillimeter 18:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I added the categorization warning because the categorization still does not make sense. The warning is harsher than what I intend, but it still indicates that the categorization here is confusing. (Is this article about two or three people? This is listed in three "death" categories.) Dr. Submillimeter 18:47, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I removed the categorization warning because it was inappropriate. Still, the categorization is confusing. Dr. Submillimeter 18:50, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Introduction edit

Can somebody with knowledge on this subject please write a percise introduction as to what this article subject is? It currently takes like three paragraphs to comprehend what exactly this article is about. --Oakshade 04:18, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Alice Cholmondeley edit

Note that there was another writer who published under the name Alice Cholmondely. Alice Mary Egerton, died 27 November 1868, married Reginald Cholmondely on 17 October 1867. Two posthumus books of poetry were published, both edited by her husband. - one, simply Poems by A.C., as Alice Mary Cholmondely in 1871 and Emblems, as Alice Cholmondeley in 1875.94.139.27.74 (talk) 09:44, 29 July 2020 (UTC) 94.139.27.74 (talk) 09:34, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
