- It isn't, unless the person who wrote it has explicitly put it in the public domain. If it is in the public domain, Wikipedia would have to have evidence of that. (See WP:Public domain for more information). If it isn't (which is the norm, by default), someone wanting to put copyrighted material onto Wikipedia and having the authority to do so would have to donate the material following the procedures at WP:DCM. —Largo Plazo (talk) 18:37, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
