This article implies that the turntable was abandoned when the trolleybuses ceased to operate. Actually it was used to turn the replacement diesel buses for some time until a new turning area was created outside the newly built Civic Offices in Bridge Street. I will try to find a source if I can spare the time. Britmax (talk) 20:43, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
