Sexual harassment allegations edit

Please see Talk:The_Loud_House#Sexual_harassment_allegations EvergreenFir (talk) 18:44, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

To follow up, I have removed the firing from the lede of the article for now, as I'm afraid it may be WP:UNDUE. (It is still mentioned in the prose of the 'Career' section, of course.) But I'd like more discussion as to whether it's appropriate to include that in the lede of a WP:BLP... --IJBall (contribstalk) 20:07, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also the conclusion that since he was fired from his current job that he will never find work again needs something more than personal opinions that he is unemployable. Wait a few years or a statement from him before declaring him finished. Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:28, 22 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Years active edit

I think it's pretty much a given that this guy's career is over, so I added "1991-2017" for years active. Another user doesn't agree. While it is possible he self-employ, he hasn't. He sure as hell isn't going to find work anywhere else. Dpm12 (talk) 05:31, 22 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I disagree. He is talented and will very likely get another job doing what he does well. Maybe under closer supervision or other restrictions. We can't know the future but it is likely he is not retired. There is no official blacklist that prevents him from working somewhere in the industry. It's speculation. We don't put speculation (WP:CRYSTAL) or WP:OR into WP:BLPs. In about 3 years time, if Savino hasn't worked since 2017, then we can put an "end date" on his career. But, in the meantime, it is only speculative that his career is over. --IJBall (contribstalk) 06:45, 22 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 19 March 2019 edit

In the sexual harassment section, last sentence, change "Savino also donated" to "Savino was forced to donate" or "Savino was sentenced to donate" to properly articulate that the listed actions were part of his sentence and not additional actions he took voluntarily. 174.69.103.35 (talk) 00:02, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

The fact that he created a Incest comic is nowhere to be seen in his article edit

He is the creator of "The complex adventures of Eddie puss" and there's no mention of it, it's a controversial fact so it should be documented so people don't have to fact check in sketchy websites due to the pornographic nature of the comic 186.189.71.159 (talk) 23:51, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

(1) Reliable sources are required and (2) you should see the works by Tex Avery and Bruce Timm EvergreenFir (talk) 00:05, 6 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

YouTube video edit

I do not want to start anything because last time I entered info on this site, I almost got locked out of my account forever so I am going to ask on the Talk Page first. Chris Savino and his new wife made a video detailing his side of the story and he claims that the harassment and abuse allegations are false but did admit to having an affair with Cheyenne Curtis. If you want me to like the video, then I will do so, but I want to show it safely and not get in any trouble for it. Tyler Michael Mannix (talk) 02:57, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes please link the video, i'll see if i can be incorporated into the article --FMSky (talk) 04:20, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I tried but I get a note that the edit was not saved due to Wikipedia blacklisting the site. Tyler Michael Mannix (talk) 05:32, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
in that case it really seems that site isnt allowed on wikipedia. was it also released somewhere else? -FMSky (talk) 20:39, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am pretty sure he shared it on his new social media account as a link to the video. Could that work? Tyler Michael Mannix (talk) 21:23, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
which site is it? i couldnt find anything via google --FMSky (talk) 19:26, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
It is a YouTube video on the channel "Christian Car Rides". The video is titled "Destroying Chris Savino - The Whole Story" and it features Chris and his new wife Ian. Again, I can't share the link here but I am sure if you type that into Google you will be able to find it on YouTube. Tyler Michael Mannix (talk) 00:45, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Tyler: To be really honest with you, you're reading like someone who has a personal agenda to defend Savino because you admire his work and/or his religious beliefs, which goes against Wikipedia rules. As you were told when you got blocked over adding gossip to Alex Hirsch's article, YouTube or other social media sites are NOT, and never will be, a reliable source on anything, much less a casual, non-notorious video where Chris portrays himself as a victim likely in order to lure fans of his work (particularly The Loud House) and promote his new Christian projects. The fact Chris got fired from Nickelodeon (where the allegations are vetted by the network's PR team, they obviously found due cause to fire him despite being the creator of their second highest-rated show), and was then fined and suspended from the Animation Guild is ample proof the allegations did happen and had merit, no matter how much he and his new wife deny it on their social media and try to pooh-pooh the women who denounced him, and you should really learn to not take things at face value just because you admire the persons involved.
