Tuckahoe Indian tribe edit

Tuckahoe is a park in the north central part of queen Anne's county on marylands eastern shore near ruthsburg and Centreville townships. Tuckahoe itself is a word that was anglicized by British settlers taken from the the local Indian tribe who referred to themselves as the tok won no people.
