Restored

edit

I restored this article, which was previously redirected. Sources are available, and may be somewhat to locate via internet searches, as this brand has been around since at least the 1930s. Also has potential for a merge, rather than redirection. North America1000 23:44, 23 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Chocomel: Belgian or Dutch?

edit

Hey, this article currently states that Chocomel is produced in NL. While the producing company is headquartered in Netherlands, the drink itself appears to be manufactured in Belgium.

Package itself also has EU health mark "be m322a eg", which corresponds to FrieslandCampina Belgium (see here), several examples visible on WMC: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Chocomel. de.wikipedia, fr.wikipedia and nl.wikipedia also state that this is the manufacturing location.

As such I'll update the page to say the product itself is manufactured in Belgium.

However, the drink is owned by a NL company, was originally invented in NL (detailed here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocomel) and anecdotally speaking associated more with NL than BE. As such I'll keep the page short description as "Dutch brand of chocolate-flavoured milk". Please feel free to change if I'm interpreting that incorrectly.
