This article should be combined with pumpellyite. Chlorastrolite is not a distinct mineral but rather a nodular variety of pumpellyite-(Mg). In addition, zonochlorite is not "sold as faux chlorastrolite," but instead is a much rarer and more impure form of pumpellyite-(Mg) containing ample banded impurities of clinochlore, silica, and possible prehnite. It has been proposed that zonochlorite is a replacement of Lake Superior agates. It should also be mentioned that the Wilson Islands on which zonochlorite is found are now protected by the Canadian government, and it is illegal to remove anything from the islands. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.113.230.149 (talk) 00:30, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
