Is it possible this subject should be combined with the nonexistent subject of the citta (sanskrit)? It might be cleaner since the concept is prebuddhist and possibly prevedic. And since the concept is largely the same it could be broken down into 1)Citta 2)Citta's origins in Samkhya 3)In Buddhist Doctrine 4)In Hindu Doctrine, Jain, etcetera. This occurs to me partially because the Atahkarana page links citta here which it probably shouldn't since it is discussing the concept in Samkhya.

Your suggestion makes sense. But I would also prefer to have a separate article for Buddhism (e.g. Citta (Buddhism)) that would be linked to from the main article. Regards, Dorje108 (talk) 00:24, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Citta/Chitta edit

Is it Citta or Chitta in Sanskrit?

I think that the term "Citta" needs a disambiguation link as "Citta" also means mind in Buddhism, which is actually what I was looking for when I searched for this article 220.225.64.6 09:55, 3 December 2007 (UTC)BuddhistFollowerReply
