The song gets a million hits its first day, five million soon after (and someone on Youtube said it had hit 10 million hits), so WHY did it get pulled from Youtube and iTunes?? The link is there now, i googled it when i did the beat comparison and it is there under Patrice's record lable name. As for who those two guies are: just behind the scenes people as far as i know, I believe but i'm not 100%, but I believe I saw the name Boris Larvor in the credits of a few albums released by Ministry of sound, but i could be dead wrong on thatone. And before anybody brings it up, no i am not one of those imbecilles that think that as soon as someone samples another person to create a beat is automatically bad, no i don't. It's a technique that a plethora of artists use, and Patrice is no different. Dave doesn't even mind that the beat from Starfire was used anyway. Look at the plethora of people who have sampled Eric Prydz and Deadmau5 beats in their songs, they're still excelelnt producers, so no, it's not bad that Patrice sampled the beat. and Dave has no problem with it either. I showed him the comparison and he can see it too. The beat sampled is near the end of starfire, if one wishes to youtube it, make sure it's the full six minute version, and the beat is right near the end of the song. What was done is Patrice took a small sample of the beat, put it through a high-pass filter, then replaced the kick with a kick that he either fuond or created, and presto, the beat to Chinese food is created. Quite a few of producers do that. Pluss maybe those who do it are enspired by the beat, but don't know how exactly to recreate it, or the beat from starfire was in a samplepack that Patrice had. But there's no doubt that the beat is the exact same one from Starfire by Dave Kurtis, anybody who knows their shit about music producing knows that often times in electronicly produced music, sampling beats is a common practice. Look at the beat for "MOve for me" by Kaskade and Deadmau5, it uses two sampled beats. The beginning beat of the eric prydz remix of Bit Patchy by Switch and the beginning beat from the dirty south remix of The Things you say by cicada, and both Deadmau5 and Kaskade are renouned producers.
