Kudos! edit

This is a very high quality article on a very interesting subject. A true reflection of a well-researched article by an editor who cares about the subject. --Antorjal 13:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

In this sentence:

While it is likely there has been no addition of new blood since the Middle Ages, the total genetic isolation of the herd is documented for the last 300 years.

there is a link to the page for "blood". However, in THIS (cattle) entry, "blood" does not literally mean blood, but rather is used in its old meaning as a stand-in for "genetic material". I reckon the reference to "blood" is potentially confusing for some people.

Having said that, I will not be changing the main item, but suggest that for attention by the earlier editor.

thanks for the kind words. your point is well taken on the link to blood. i have edited it to take the link to heredity. cheers. Anlace 02:07, 14 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
