Chiefdom of Higüey edit

Did the Chiefdom of Higüey not also include what is now Santo Domingo Province? Somehow this appears to have been left out of the list of provinces covering this chiefdom (the province is not the same as the current Distrito Nacional, and was created in 2001 from part of the former Distrito Nacional).
