Confused over timeline edit

I have had a quick go at tidying this article slightly, and am more than a little confused by the timeline given Bush et al were shot down in September 44. One of the sources [1] reports executions and cannibalism (of unidentified airman) in August 44, and further executions in February 45 (again victims not identified). Another source [http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/japan/1445167/George-Bushs-comrades-eaten-by-their-Japanese-PoW-guards.html identifies the victims as Bush'e comrades and confirms the September date for his being shot down. Are we conflating two separate incidents? IdreamofJeanie (talk) 10:13, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Claims edit

"Bradley claims that this included not only ritual cannibalization of the livers of freshly killed prisoners, but also the cannibalization-for-sustenance of living prisoners over the course of several days, amputating limbs only as needed to keep the meat fresh."

Is there any evidence for this apart from Bradley's claim? If not, it should be removed. Doktor Rotkod (talk) 21:34, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

an other source edit

  • Georgina Fitzpatrick, Timothy L.H. McCormack, Narrelle Morris, Australia's War Crimes Trials 1945-51, S.296 it claims that this was ritual cannibalization. It has also more sources. Maybe someone can make good use of this -- A1000 (talk) 18:59, 14 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

z special recon still classified edit

It is believed my grandfather of the z special Australian forces Rae hal Fisk did reconnaissance of the execution of the pilots to which I stumbled across his photo's when I was a child. The executions done by Katana and beheaded the pilots and apparently the families were compensated via Japan breaking geneva convention laws. R.H.Fisk has since passed away never revealing his heroic war stories in the z special and his missions still redacted and classified today. Though I know his weapon of choice was a high powered crossbow as i also stumbled across that also before all war gear was either returned to government or destroyed. 2406:2D40:44E6:BA10:A924:AB46:E320:AA9F (talk) 02:16, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
