  • Comment: Only one paper with over 100 citationsi n Gogle Scholar,; this probably does not meet our notability requirement for showing hte influence of her work. DGG ( talk ) 04:15, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

    • No. WP:NSCHOLAR states "Criterion 1 can also be satisfied if the person has pioneered or developed a significant new concept, technique or idea…" Citations 4–6 suppoprt the assertion that Marletto and Deutsch are the pioneers "in the field of constructor theory" which article in turn also supports that point. If we want an article on constructor theory—and unlike in 2016 no one is currently contending that we do not—the pioneers of that theory are Marletto and Deutsch, who thus qualify (the latter multiple times over; Deutsch is admittedly more notable than Marletto, and also older). (See also WP:NAUTHOR point 2.) Additionally, "Criterion 7 may be satisfied, for example, if the person is frequently quoted in conventional media as an academic expert in a particular area." See 2690 results in Google news search, as well as 300+ individual and panel interviews on YouTube channels other than her own. Note also that Google Scholar fails WP:RS for use in citation metrics per WP:NSCHOLAR#Citation metrics. All that said, the article is still a stub and could use significant additional work to more clearly demonstrate notability and impact; stub-class, however, is not an indication of non-notability. —KGF0 ( T | C ) 21:51, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
