There is no such thing as Chi Do Kwan. It's really Jidokwan. Chi and Ji sound close.
Chosun Yun Moo Kwan, founded in 1946 later changed it's name to Jidokwan, around 1954. Through changes in presidents of the Kwan, non Koreans attempting to understand Kwan history, became confused and though there were three different Kwans. The original students of the Chosun Yun Moo Kwan that are still alive, are all members of the Jidokwan today, expect Kyo Yun Lee who went on to found his own Kwan, called Han Moo Kwan.
