  • Chiţcani, MoldovaChiţcani — The other two uses of "Chiţcani" are for villages, which lack administrative status and are now linked to at the top for disambiguation purposes. This article refers to a commune, which does have its own administration, and appears to be the primary topic. — Biruitorul Talk 23:59, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Queried. Most people never heard of any place with this name, and thus none of its meanings can be called dominant. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:57, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
    • True (at least outside Romania and Moldova). However, the practice thus far has generally been as follows: if there's one commune (or town) and a few villages called X, the commune is located at X, and links to the villages are either given at the top or on a separate disambiguation page. See for instance Topliţa and Constantinovca for the top-of-the page method, or Florica/Florica (disambiguation), Plopu/Plopu (disambiguation), Liteni/Liteni (disambiguation) or Vălișoara/Vălișoara (disambiguation) for the separate-page method. (Usually a separate page is created if there are over three villages with the same name.) So while I agree all three places are obscure, past practice (and remember, we're talking about hundreds of cases), as well as the fact that this one is a commune and the others are not, indicate that this article should be moved to Chiţcani and the villages linked from the top of the page. - Biruitorul Talk 15:11, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. As long as the other Chiţcanis are redlinked, it seems the article in question here is the primary meaning. (And even if not, "Moldova" is no good as a disambiguator since one of the other Chiţcanis is also in Moldova.) — AjaxSmack 03:21, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. The current content of Chiţcani would look nicer at Chiţcani (disambiguation). Dc76\talk 04:12, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
