Chokar Kalan → Chhokar – Because most of the sources mentioned word Chhokar & Chokar Kalan is a synonym for the same clan name and only one source used word Chokar Kalan but a bundle of sources mentioned them as Chhokar. 2404:3100:182F:5EB9:1:0:76B5:1719 (talk) 09:56, 17 May 2024‎ (UTC)Reply

@Gtrang, Sir you can add these information in history section/heading blow the first paragraph about this tribe.? In an account it is narrated that Chokar Gujjars were numerous with other important classes of the Gurjars in the Patiala state of the British Punjab during the British rule in Indian subcontinent.^[1] Refrence

The Gujars were an important agricultural and pastoral tribe. By origin they were, if language was a test, distinct from both the Rajputs and Jats as their dialect was akin to the Mewari of Central India.The important classes of Gujars in Patiala State were Bharwal, Lodi, Bargat, Duchak, Katoria, Latala, Jandar and Rawat. While in Nabha state, their important classes were Chokar, Bhargar, Chaprana, Doi, Kasana, Kharana and Sardhana.
