Separate article for PPV edit
I think there is enough unique information on this subject that allows it to be a separate article. This is the same argument for articles such as the Ford Police Interceptor, Caprice 9C1, etc... Thoughts? roguegeek (talk·cont) 20:49, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- I don't consider two paragraphs to be "enough" personally (look at some of the earlier generations). If you insist on doing so, a more appropriate solution would be to create a dedicated Chevrolet Caprice (sixth generation) article. Police car versions are already sold in the Middle East (since 2006), but these are not called PPVs. OSX (talk • contributions) 05:09, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

- Well that's what happens when you don't reply. I believe that I was fair and reasonable, giving you more than two weeks to reply.
- With regards to your statement about no consensus given, where is the consensus to actually split up the page to begin with? I also see no evidence of Wikipedia:Splitting being followed. - Well on the WP:CARS talk page: User:Stepho-wrs said we should have individual generational pages (i.e. this page would exist as Chevrolet Caprice (sixth generation)) and User:Vossanova basically agreed with what I proposed. Policy would dictate that three paragraphs is not enough to warrant a sub-article, so when a decent amount of sixth generation information is added, feel free to create the sixth generation page. As a result, this page now redirects to Chevrolet Caprice. OSX (talk • contributions) 12:15, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
