Disambiguation

edit

There is a link to [[Development]] on this page that is linking to a disambiguation page. I'm not sure which (if any) of the more specific pages on types of development would be a better link in this context. The sentence that has the word isn't very clear. Is it referring to the development of the school (expansion, which is covered in the next sentence), or was there a large housing development built in the area? Could someone please review the choices available and either re-direct the link or delete it? Thanks.Chidom talk  22:46, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is referring to a large development of the school, not a housing development in the area. CHS was a work in progress for many years - I started there in 1976 and there were still many classrooms that were old Horsa huts.

I'm new to all this so I don't really know how to edit pages.

Oh, and I believe Tim Andrew is no longer headteacher as he's retiring/now retired.

It looks like someone has altered the link so it no longer points to a disambiguation page, although I'm not convinced a link adds any value in the intended context. It looks like Tim Andrew retires at the end of August, and that his successor, Philip Wayne, takes over in September, so the information is still currently correct. - Scribble Monkey 14:20, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Censorship

edit

There's something clearly wrong with this section. It needs sources, or it should be removed. Sure, it's a bit of fun to say "this secion has often been removed by suspected school employees", but it isn't meaningful (and no, I do not and have never worked for the school!). It's silliness, and I've removed the section again. Joyous! | Talk 17:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

To 86.130.236.75: "IT staff and technicians have confirmed this" is not justification enough for inclusion in the article. The content does not meet Wikipedia's policies/guidelines on Verifiability and Notability. If you disagree, please discuss it here rather than continually reinserting it to the article. Thanks. Removal of "Blog Incident" section

edit

What was the justification for removing this section? Its press coverage granted it some notability, I felt, and it was properly sourced. Please clarify. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Estesark (talkcontribs) 10:11, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Undid a lot of distorted facts by vandals

This really needs to be watched. Is it possible for this school to have 1300000 school children? Oneelephantpickle (talk) 17:11, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
