This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the page cited as an infringement "http://bsdb.org/awards/the-cheryll-tickle-medal/" is authored by myself; I, Andreas Prokop/comms@bsdb.org, am the communications officer of the BSDB (see: http://bsdb.org/about-us/#committee) and am the administrator of the bsdb.org site. This is therefore no plagiarism or copyright infringement, as I understand G12 refers to. --PoppiUK62 (talk) 21:59, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

@PoppiUK62:, thank you for writing here. Even if you are the writer, that doesn't mean you would be allowed to publish the material on Wikipedia. You would need to donate them to Wikipedia, which you may or may not have the authority to do based on your relationship with the group (ex. marketing directors normally do not own the copyright to marketing materials the write for the organization.) This is explained more clearly at the page I just linked to. I hope this explanation is helpful. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:12, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have now made significant changes to the wording, so that there is no longer any similarity with the original text on bsdb.org. I hope these changes are now acceptable? PoppiUK62 (talk) 22:34, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have a conflict of interest and should not be editing this article at all, or any others relating to the organisation you work for. Deb (talk) 15:02, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
