Dual-language books

@JarrahTree: do you have citations for Lucky Thamu and Barlay! being dual language? Or should we say:

She has also written several children's books, some using both English and Noongar language.

My refs only covered Ninni Yabini explicitly. From science to stories says "... Nyungar words ... in your stories" but does explicitly say which ones - it could be talking about either or both of Bush and Beyond or Barlay!. Mitch Ames (talk) 10:11, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

err on the side of the caution - if you had looked at the two possible places - https://catalogue.slwa.wa.gov.au/search~S2 or trove it is not specifically clear despite an allusion to the use of english and noongar of the waarda series, the cataloguer(s) have not made an attempt to describe the specifics at wa or national catalogue, unless I have missed something - not good enough for me in the current state of the ambiguity, that is for sure...

in this delightful bi-lingual picture book is in the Ninni Yabini library catalogue description - but the Lucky Thamu description - About the Waarda series Waarda, Noongar for talking and sharing stories and information, is an exciting new Indigenous children's series. The series is designed to support the literacy needs of Indigenous children in primary school, by making available to them stories written by Indigenous authors nothing about whether they are bi-lingual or not... I beg to differ as to 'specific references' - the only way to solve the issue is to get a look at the specific books - clearly there are some discontunities between library summaries - humans involved... JarrahTree 11:22, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
