There's an error of fact in the article's History section (3rd para) re 1230 Nepean Highway. The building wasn't constructed for the City of Kingston. It was, if I recall correctly, the Fujitsu headquarters. Council later leased space within the building, moving their headquarters from Mentone to Cheltenham. Reference [5] is Councils announcement that it had bought the building in late 2010.

I suspect the error has arisen from Council's dot points on its web page where it notes the building was built in 1993, then the next dot point that it was 100% leased to Council. I believe this either relates to immediately prior to the purchase or that it is 100% occupied by Council after the purchase. It wasn't the case when it was the Fujitsu building. This article suggests they will be leasing space privately ().

I suggest that the reference simply be that the Council purchased the building in 2010 as its headquarters.

Hi Cheltenham3192! I'm so glad your based in Chelt, just like me :) Before the council, as you say 'purchased' the building in 2010-11 the council did still have its municipal office inside the building, Fijitsu did not occupy the whole building. New Section - Activity Centre

I will be soon adding in to the Cheltenham artcile, Cheltenhams' Activity Centre development, which is 1 of 82 major urban developments taking place in Victoria. These are from Melbourne 2030. Suburbs including Mentone, Highett and Mordiollic have their own "Major Activity Centre" as well. Westfield Southland is reguarded itself, as a "Principal Activity Centre" which is higher ranked than a M.A.C.
