Are there too many Cheltenham articles? edit
Does the Cheltenham, New Zealand page need to exist? Why does its talk page link here? Why is Hato Paora College referred to on the Cheltenham, New Zealand page, but not on the Cheltenham, Manawatu page, which the coordinates show to be closer to it? What evidence is there that there is a Cheltenham at the coordinates shown in the Cheltenham, New Zealand article? Should the disambiguation page show all three of these pages under a heading of New Zealand? Johnragla (talk) 00:55, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
Redirect to Devonport edit
I wasn't able to establish that Cheltenham is a distinct suburb. While Cheltenham is listed at LINZ, media sources overwhelmingly described the features in this area as being in Devonport, street addresses describe the area as Devonport, and I couldn't find evidence of Cheltenham having a distinct identity/history that would warrant a separate article. If this changes over time, then the article should be restored. --Prosperosity (talk) 05:42, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
