This entry has a lot of good information about the physical description of the spider and its habitat. There is a lot of clear, detailed information on the size of the spider, the colors across its body, and even the patterns on its eyes. One thing I learned that is most interesting is that their eyes have a ‘tapetum lucidum’ which is able to reflect light back to the source, suggesting that these spiders have good vision and are good hunters. One issue that I have with the entry is that the writing is often redundant and non-descript. For example, the author writes “good to excellent vision” and “agile prey hunters” in the first paragraph. Three categories that I noticed that are missing that could be included are Physiology, Bites to humans and animals, and Diet. I wanted these to be included because the entry already has information related to the mechanism behind the spider's vision, the mild effects of its bites, and the fact that it eats moths.
