I removed a sentence about the WWII pom-pom.

The pom-poms fitted on WWII destroyers were not chase armament. The sentence was not referenced when originally added, and the references added later were clearly intended for the article as a whole, not for this sentence. Chase armament is used for chasing, so it is mounted to fire forward (or aft) at a target during a chase. The pom-poms were mounted for general defence against submarines (or aircraft) attacking a convoy: this is not a chase situation. -Arch dude (talk) 16:15, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
