During which time period did Hindus rule Charsadda?

In olden times Mahabharat times, India encompassed land from Iran to Myanmar. Many institutions were in present-day Pakistan, the whole realm of Hindu Kings encompassed this realm, and therefore at some point in time (before 400AD) it definitely ruled by Hindus, and after that Kushanas, possibly Rajputs, and then Ghazni.Bakaman%% 22:06, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'm no expert, but I was worried you deleted info without explaining.Blnguyen | rant-line 06:03, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

As recently as 1000 AD. The Hindu Shahi rulers Jayapala and Anandapala ruled Charsadda, Peshawar Valley, Lamghan and Kabul Valley. They were later conquered by Mahmud Ghazni when he defeated the Hindu Shahis who were Hindu Rajputs. Also, before Ashoka converted to Buddhism the region was mostly ruled by Hindu kings. Especialy, during the epic age. During the Scythian era and most of the time after that as well until the end of Hindu Shahi era. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.145.76.44 (talk) 07:11, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
