Age of Charity Shoal Crater - Middle Ordovician edit

Charity Shoal Crater has been dated to the Middle Ordovician. It is blanketed by fossiliferous Middle Ordovician strata of the Trenton Group that drape the crater surface and breccia that fills its crater. Go see "Geological structure of Charity Shoal crater, Lake Ontario, revealed by multi beam bathymetry" by Troy L. Holcombe, Scott Youngblut, and Niall Slowey in vol. 33 of Geo-Marine Letters.
