Two of the three group members are the daughters of singer Tom Chapin and so are referred to on his page; hence they are nieces of the well-known Harry Chapin and granddaughters of legendary drummer Jim Chapin. Their presence here helps establish the "artistic family" theme that Harry Chapin often mentioned in interviews (see the "Taxi" biography ref. at Harry Chapin). The third member is the daughter of well-known director Wes Craven. Additionally, they perform across the country (see "Shows" at their web site [1]; I saw them perform at a Harry Chapin tribute concert in Indiana), have been reviewed (see "Press" at their web site, e.g. [2]), and have a recent CD out (see [3]; at least one previous CD has been available at their concerts). They have received limited radio play (again, see their web site). This is not a small, local group of unknowns. JJL 15:43, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Okay, if you can prove notability can you please put this in the article? Thanks. Beno1000 16:33, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • I'm removing the prod tag from this article. I believe this group meets WP:MUSIC based on a national tour of US [4]. Additionally, this group gets more than a few google hits. All that said, the creator of this article should consider expanding this article to show that this group is notable, and not just some band with a myspace account. • Okay, but you still need to assert the notability in the article. Thanks. Beno1000 01:45, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Agreed. I'm willing to add in some perfunctory information to state this group's notability, but I would prefer that the creator do this. I assume that the creator is probably more qualified to make this a useful article than I am. If nothing is done in a few days, I'll add something in, but it won't be as good as what someone with better knowledge of this group could contribute. ScottW 02:03, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I will add more info. Heh, to a Harry Chapin fan like me it seemed quite obvious what was notable! JJL 03:08, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
