Interview?
editThere are far too many quotes in this article. Please streamline it in biographical format. - Darkhawk
proposed merger with Chantal Condor
editI proposed merging Chantal Condor into this article, since it's the same person. I haven't done it myself, because it's been quite hard to find reliable adequate coverage on her, under either name. If nobody else does it, I'll probably eventually do it. Please leave the merge tag in place, as we don't want somebody spending lots of time on an article without knowing it'll be merged later. --Rob (talk) 00:32, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- There's plenty of material on Chamandy available, the question is whether there is proof that Condor is Chamandy? Is there reliable source that states this? If not those merge tags should go unless there is a reliable source. Banjeboi 00:41, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Toronto Star article as per external links should be a sufficient reliable source. Support the merge. Dl2000 (talk) 01:00, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- If they are the same person and we have reliable sources then there's no need to propose the merge just do it. Banjeboi 01:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Benjiboi is right, it's not really necessary to propose a merge first if we're sure that both articles are about the same person. It clearly would make no sense to have multiple articles about the same person just because she changed her stage name (we don't, for example, have separate articles on "Roseanne Barr" vs. "Roseanne Arnold", or "Peaches" vs. "Merrill Nisker"), so it's okay to just be bold and merge. - This is a case of much-ado about not much. I originally placed a merge tag, because it was more work then I was prepared to do at the time. I used it like a typical "cleanup" tag. The tag was removed for "lack of discussion", so I started this thread (knowing nobody would contest a merge). I could have done a quick-and-dirty merge, but I thought I'd leave it, till I (or somebody else) could rework the two articles into something good. Basically, I just want the tag there for now, so all editors are aware of the need for the cleanup/merge. --Rob (talk) 02:47, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

- Merge now made, per discussion. Now it's the usual WP need to expand/source/cleanup the article. Dl2000 (talk) 03:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
IMDB link
editCurrent IMDB link is given as "Chantal Condor", nm0174421. But IMDB also has "Chantal Chamandy", nm1055213. I suppose these are the same person, too, per above discussion. Does it make sense to link both of them? 212.50.203.198 (talk) 21:03, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
