- This is the only little village in Italy, which is inaccessible by car. People walk or go by bicycle. asserted by anon editor 193.58.223.72, 10:09, 25 March 2009.
- On satellite and aerial imagery, a (partly unpaved) road leading to the village from a nearby parking lot is clearly visible. In a neighbouring farm holding, two parked cars can be seen on Google Earth. The tractors, pick-up trucks and snow ploughs that are used by the locals also must have gotten there somehow. So it seems that even though cars are not allowed there, the place is not per se inaccessible to cars.--Kernpanik (talk) 22:02, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

There are many small villages in Italy that are inaccessible to cars.Chamois is the only Commune,with its own mayor,to do so over all the villages and hamlets that make up its territory.Some farms, however,can be reached by the farmer's vehicles provided they keep road conditions suitable.One must remind that most of the farming in Chamois is done over a period of about 3 (summer) months.Tractors and lawnmowers are, of course, common during the summer period. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:B07:6463:99D:2DE4:FB74:70DF:C6E4 (talk) 15:32, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
