Tfinkdji's list of villages edit
I have reverted an otherwise-helpful edit adding diacritical marks and proposing alternative identifications to Tfinkdji's list of villages because it alters what Tfinkdji said. This is a direct quotation from a source, and should not be tampered with. I have no objection whatsoever to the addition of a paragraph evaluating Tfinkdji's list, but the list itself should be preserved in the form in which it is presently given. I will add the Syriac names in due course.
Having said that, I don't see a great deal of point in adding diacritical marks to village names in an encyclopedia like this, as they don't really add anything, and half of them appear as little squares rather than in their correct form. The most important thing is to give the village names in both conventional English transcriptions and in Syriac.
